Take the stage. Find your voice. Bring stories to life.
The Brevard HEAT Drama Troupe is a dedicated group of student thespians who are developing their talents and preparing for competition at the district and state level. Under the direction of Jenni Ervin, our troupe works on a variety of performance pieces—ranging from monologues and dialogues to ensemble group scenes. These works are carefully chosen and rehearsed to meet competition standards and highlight the unique strengths of each performer.
Throughout the fall, troupe members receive coaching in stage presence, interpretation, delivery, and collaboration. The program is designed not only to strengthen acting skills but also to build confidence, creativity, and teamwork. Students will perform in front of live audiences and adjudicators, gaining valuable experience that sharpens their craft.
The journey continues beyond the local stage. Top performers have the opportunity to advance and represent the HEAT at the Florida State Thespian Competition, where the best of the best showcase their artistry.
Registration Fee: $75*** (for the 2025-26 year only)
General Fee: $250 for Fall Lessons - Additional fees apply for students who qualify for the State Competition.
The Drama Troupe is ideal for students who are passionate about performance and eager to grow in a supportive, challenging environment. Whether presenting a moving monologue or bringing energy to a group piece, each member contributes to the artistry and excellence of the team.
